5:45 discussion: Jim Canary will be delivering Jack Kerouac's scroll manuscript "On the Road," to be included in the Ransom Center exhibit On the Road with the Beats. http://www.hrc.utexas.edu/exhibitions/2008/beats/ "This visually stunning first draft has no paragraph or chapter breaks, and the characters are referred to by their real names." The first 48 feet of this 120-foot "page" will be on view from March 7 through June 1.

8:00 or so ~~~~presentation about his Tibetan book adventures: PLEASE RSVP for dinner at We Fuse and talk at Olivia's house to Jerome at jeromejcollins_chfc@swbell.net. Olivia wants to make sure that we have enough space. If not, we might have to search for another venue. Since John at We Fuse cooks all meals as they are ordered, it would be very helpful for him to know approximately how many people he should anticipate for dinner. (price range of $7-$12.00) FYI --There are less expensive eateries at the Dobie Mall food court and on Guadalupe.
