Austin Book Workers Announces
The Umpteenth, Almost Twentieth Annual Book Arts Fair

On Sunday, July 6, 2008, Austin Book Workers will hold their free Annual Book Arts Fair at AMOA-Laguna Gloria, 3809 West 35th Street from 1:00 until 5:00pm.

Book Fair is a celebration of the handmade book and the arts associated with it. There will be demonstrations and hands-on events including: paper marbling, paste paper making, miniature book making, pop-up books, creative book structures, working with leather, fine press printing, history of the book, calligraphy, paper making and a children?s book hospital where a child may bring his or her board book to be repaired.

The event is fun as well as a hands-on educational opportunity for book lovers of all ages.
