Bring the family and join us for our 20th-Something Annual celebration! Hands-on, book-related fun for all ages.
What: Annual Book Arts Fair 2010 at AMOA-Laguna Gloria
Where: 3809 West 35th Street in Art School Classrooms close to the water
Date: Sunday, July 4th, 2009
Time: 1:00pm until 5:00pm
This event is free and indoors.
Due to the timely announcement, all information may change. Please check 1 to 2 weeks prior to event.
The Book Fair is a celebration of the handmade book and the associated arts with it. There will be demonstrations and hands-on events including:
- paper marbling
- paste paper making
- calligraphy
- miniature book making
- pop-up books
- creative book structures
- working with leather
- fine press printing
The event is free, indoor and fun. Come enjoy this hands-on educational opportunity for book lovers of all ages.
